Riyadh is Saudi Arabia’s capital and main financial hub. Riyadh is the most populous city in Saudi Arabia and spread over 100 kilometers radius. King Khaled International Airport is about 35 kms north of the city. The city is looking to achieve sustainable urban and developmental progress, in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 plan and the 2020 National Transformation Program, both of which envisage having three Saudi cities make it among the top 100 cities in the world, and giving their residents a higher quality of life.
King Fahad road and Makkah road are the major highways. The modern business districts; Olaya and Suleimaniyah containing most offices and hotels. Faisalah Tower and Kingdom Center are key attractions in the modern part of Riyadh. Riyadh Zoo, Masmask fortess, Murabba Palace and National Museum also attract internal and external tourists.
