Art visions: "Gröön gries"

A photographic art project by Anna Domnick and Ulrike Schmid.

"Gröön gries" deals with the immediate environment of the InterCityHotel Hamburg Dammtor-Messe and forms the intersection between two seemingly fundamentally different areas: the CCH fair grounds and the "Planten un Blomen" Botanical Garden with its rich tradition. While the fair stands for linearity, the park is composed of mostly organics. Hence, the rigid materials of architecture are confronted with the dynamic, animate elements of the flora.
