Enjoy our bright, air-conditioned standard rooms at InterCityHotel Vienna. The rooms include a work desk, a minibar, satellite TV with free Sky channels, a laptop safe and complementary WiFi. The bathroom is equipped with a shower/WC, a hairdryer and an additional vanity mirror.
If you want to be able to concentrate on work now and again during your stay in the hotel, your best option is to book one of our business rooms, overlooking the quiet courtyard, with complementary high-speed internet access. You can help yourself from the free minibar and enjoy a coffee or tea that you have made yourself at your own desk.
A photographic art project by Matthias H. Risse and Cem Kozcuer.
Vienna - The photographers Matthias H. Risse and Cem Kozcuer have pondered the question of which images of Vienna exist in personal thoughts. Much of what one expects in a work about Vienna is suggested. Horses, Franz with white
gloves, elegant parties, splendour, mountains: yes, everything is included. But despite this, the work is far from meeting cliché-like expectations. Close-ups suppress large portions of the motif’s context – letting us, in fact, discern an individual interest in objects and their specific characteristics. The images reveal a vision which is aware of its own expectations, and breaks these.
